About

Frequency Fish Management

Artist and talent management focused on hip-hop, culture-driven creators, and brand-ready voices across music, content, and live experiences.

Who We Are

Frequency Fish Management is an artist management and talent development company representing the next generation of hip-hop artists, cultural creators, and independent voices who value authenticity, legacy, and creative control.

Founded by Stan Wright as part of the Music Cars & Kulture ecosystem, Frequency Fish operates on a simple principle: the frequency is legacy and kids first. We build careers that honor heritage while creating sustainable pathways for artists to control their own narratives, own their masters, and build generational wealth—not just record deals.

Why "Frequency Fish"

The name comes from a personal truth: Stan Wright and artist Chingy are both Pisces fathers committed to building a lane where legacy and family come first. The frequency we operate on is different—prioritizing long-term career development, cultural respect, and family sustainability over short-term industry trends.

March 9th is Chingy's birthday. March 12th-13th is Stan's birthday. That shared Pisces energy and shared commitment to putting kids and legacy first is why Frequency Fish exists—to manage talent the way we'd want our own children's careers managed.

What We Do

Artist Management & Development

We represent emerging and established artists who bring authenticity, cultural significance, and independent hustle to their craft. Frequency Fish handles:

•       Career strategy and long-term planning

•       Partnership negotiation and deal structure

•       Content development and platform building

•       Tour coordination and live event production

•       Brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities

•       Legacy planning and intellectual property protection

Platform Building

Frequency Fish doesn't just book shows—we build platforms. Through partnerships with Music Cars & Kulture, Straight Out The Garage, and Doing It Wright Festivals, our artists gain access to:

•       Documentary series features and cultural storytelling

•       Festival stages and live event production

•       Content creation and social media amplification

•       Cross-promotional opportunities with car culture and lifestyle brands

•       Multi-generational audience connections

Cultural Positioning

We position our artists within authentic cultural movements—not manufactured trends. Whether it's hip-hop's connection to car culture through SOTG, festival performances that celebrate heritage, or partnerships that respect the communities our artists come from, Frequency Fish ensures every opportunity aligns with values, not just paychecks.

Our Approach

Legacy & Family First

Every decision is filtered through one question: Does this build legacy our artists and their families can be proud of? We prioritize ownership, creative control, and sustainable income over quick cash grabs. Our artists own their masters, control their narratives, and build equity—not just streams.

Independence Matters

Frequency Fish champions independent artists who value creative freedom. We help artists navigate the industry without compromising their vision or signing away their futures. Independence doesn't mean going it alone—it means having a team that respects your autonomy while providing infrastructure, connections, and expertise.

Culture Over Clout

We represent artists who are embedded in real culture—not chasing viral moments or industry validation. Our roster reflects communities, movements, and stories that matter beyond Billboard charts. When our artists succeed, culture wins.

Multi-Generational Strategy

Frequency Fish builds careers that span decades, not album cycles. We connect emerging artists with OGs who've navigated the industry, create mentorship opportunities, and develop content that appeals to both long-time fans and new audiences discovering the culture through modern platforms.

What Makes Frequency Fish Different

We're Not Trying to "Break" You

The traditional music industry model is designed to break artists into mainstream acceptance—often at the cost of their authenticity, creative control, and financial stability. Frequency Fish builds sustainable careers where artists remain whole, independent, and in control.

We Build Platforms, Not Just Careers

When we sign an artist, we're not just booking shows—we're creating content ecosystems. Documentary features. Festival stages. Brand partnerships. Social media amplification. Cross-cultural collaborations. Every artist becomes part of a larger movement.

We Think Generationally

Frequency Fish measures success in decades, not singles. We're building careers that become family businesses—where artists own their catalogs, control their narratives, and pass equity to their children. That's real legacy.

We Connect Music & Culture Authentically

Hip-hop has always intersected with car culture, street fashion, entrepreneurship, and community. Frequency Fish doesn't force those connections—we amplify what's already authentic. Our artists appear in SOTG because they genuinely live that intersection, not because it's a marketing angle.

Leadership

Stan Wright – Founder & Principal

Stan Wright founded Frequency Fish Management as the artist development arm of Music Cars & Kulture. With 25+ years in festival production, entertainment management, and cultural content development, Stan brings industry expertise combined with grassroots authenticity—managing artists the way he'd want his own family's careers managed.

As a Pisces father committed to legacy and family first, Stan built Frequency Fish on the principle that great management protects artists' futures, not just their present deals.

The Frequency Fish Philosophy

The frequency is legacy and kids first.

Every artist we represent is someone's child. Every career we build impacts a family. Every deal we negotiate determines whether the next generation inherits wealth or starts from scratch. Frequency Fish operates on a different frequency—where success is measured in ownership, creative control, and the ability to pass something down.

We're not interested in exploiting artists for short-term profit. We're interested in building legacies that outlast us all.
